about

this is an extended version of my new album

track 1 - bandcamp extra - isolation is the son of the environment and that is what this track is all about a repetitive bass line in 3/4 reminiscent of the Jah Wobble, Brian Eno collab album.

tracks 2 and 3 come out early on everything - a drone. i took a cassette and looped the tape inside around an acoustic bass hat was tuned to g minor so that the tape when played would play the guitar like a violin. i then mic'd the bass by putting a cheap dynamic microphone inside the body into a mixing desk and running the bass aux through a Vox StompLab pedal and into the same mixing desk. the mix in the desk ram straight back into the tape machine which was recording what was happening. about 18 minutes in i also started recording on my computer until the end of the tape. i then took the tape apart and reversed it so that i would play backward. recorded into the pc then with some basic mixing the song was ready.

track 4 - a so far non bandcamp exclusive gets its debut here.

Digital Haunt Wales, UK

Dystopian Synthetic music.

Starting in 2018 Digital Haunt developed their electronic sounds from nostalgic disjointed plunderphonics / vaporwave to plush ambient slushwave and chopped / screwed beats.

After the digital haunt, there is only an analog life. A life without surveillance or control. A life where we are free to be ourselves.
